Colombian President: We Will Cut Diplomatic Relations with Israel

Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced today, Wednesday, that he will cut diplomatic relations with Israel due to its actions in Gaza. Petro has already strongly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and called for joining South Africa's lawsuit that accuses Israel of committing genocide in the International Court of Justice. For its part, Israel considered Colombia's cut of diplomatic relations with it as a "reward" for Hamas.
