Four individuals were taken to the hospital due to injuries sustained from a number of loose horses in central London. A military spokesperson stated, "Several military horses escaped during routine training this morning," confirming that "all horses have been returned to the camp." They added, "Several individuals and horses were injured and are receiving appropriate medical care." Two horses, one of which appeared to be covered in blood, were seen running riderless on the road near Aldwych.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) reported that four people were taken to the hospital from three separate incidents on Buckingham Palace Road, Belgrave Square, and the junction of Chancery Lane and Fleet Street. According to the ambulance service, paramedics were called to the incident on Buckingham Palace Road after reports of a person falling off a horse. Additionally, a taxi driver waiting outside the Clermont Hotel was injured when a horse collided with his car, shattering his windshield. A horse also collided with a parked double-decker bus, which resulted in a broken front window.
