At the invitation of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. George Kallas, a comprehensive meeting was held at the Ministry of Youth and Sports to support the government's emergency plan in case of escalating security tensions. The meeting was chaired by Kallas and attended by representatives from youth and scouting federations as well as senior officials from the ministry. Among those present were the President of the Lebanese Scout Federation, George Gharib, and his Deputy, Hussein Ajmin, the President of the Lebanese Youth Houses Federation, Ahmad Ramadan, and his Deputy, Nadim Abdo, the Head of the Sports Division and General Director of Facilities, Mohammad Awidat, the Head of the Youth Division, Joseph Saadallah, the Head of Public Relations, Hassan Sharara, the Minister's Advisor, Dr. Mirna Sabra, the Minister's Office Director, Hussein Omar, and the Head of the Youth Associations Division, Haidar Qaleet.

The attendees discussed how to leverage the widespread presence of scouting associations and youth houses across Lebanon in the event of major incidents, along with the distinguished personnel available within the two federations under the ministry’s central authority. Many ideas, implementation mechanisms, logistical needs, and ways to secure them were discussed. It was agreed that the federations would prepare plans to be presented as soon as possible at a meeting that will be held very shortly for this purpose, aiming to establish a comprehensive plan that includes the creation of a crisis cell and the determination of its frameworks and tasks.
