Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

Settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque today, under the protection of Israeli forces, according to the "Wafa" news agency. Local sources reported that a number of settlers broke into the mosque from the direction of Bab al-Maghariba, coinciding with the sixth day of the Jewish Passover, and conducted provocative tours, performing religious rituals in its courtyards. The Islamic Waqf Department announced that "more than 600 settlers and extremists have stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque since the morning." Israeli police have also intensified their military measures at the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Organizations advocating the alleged Temple have called for widespread incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque to offer a "sacrifice" during the Jewish Passover.
