Council of Ministers Approves Agreement to Establish Headquarters for Mediterranean Agricultural Studies Center

The Council of Ministers, in its session today, approved the Ministry of Agriculture's request for approval of a framework agreement for developmental cooperation to establish the headquarters for the Mediterranean Agricultural Studies Center - CIHEAM MONTPELLIER, and authorized Minister of Agriculture Dr. Abbas Al-Haj Hassan to sign it. This decision follows a similar one to have a headquarters for the CIHEAM Bari in Lebanon, reflecting the trust between Lebanon and foreign entities, specifically between Lebanon and the French state. It is worth noting that the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture actively engages in all proposed projects and ongoing projects with French organizations.
