An Israeli drone launched an airstrike on a site in Nabatieh, southern Lebanon, targeting a residential apartment in a three-story building near the Palestine station on Marjayoun Street. The strike resulted in injuries among the building's residents. Emergency crews from various relief organizations and civil defense rushed to the scene to clear the debris, recovering four bodies belonging to citizen Hussein Barjawi, his wife, and their daughter Amani (an employee at the Lebanese International University in Nabatieh) and son. They were transferred to hospitals in Nabatieh, while the search continues for a possible fifth body in the apartment. Additionally, several injured individuals were taken from the location.
Dr. Hassan Wazni, director of Nabatieh Hospital, along with two security sources, reported to Reuters that "at least two women were killed late Wednesday in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon." He stated that the bodies of the women arrived at the hospital severely disfigured, making identification difficult, adding that "seven others were injured." The targeted building is at risk of collapse at any moment, amidst calls for evacuation.
Furthermore, an Israeli airstrike targeted a house on the Dirsiryan - Tyre road. Reports indicate that Israeli warplanes have been flying intensively at low altitudes over the southern areas, especially over Tyre. In this context, Hezbollah mourned in a statement the member "Ibrahim Hussein Al-Mustarrah 'Kamil', born in 1978 from the town of Tyre in southern Lebanon."
