U.S. President Joe Biden confirmed that "no one can be allowed to resort to violence in the United States, and our support for Israel is steadfast and will not change even if there are disagreements," urging all Americans to "remain united against anti-Semitism and hate." He stated that "my administration is working around the clock to secure the release of those remaining hostages in Gaza, and I want to tell the Jewish community that you are not alone and I feel your fears," considering that "freedom is a sacred right, but we cannot allow hate speech on campuses against either Jews or any other party." He added, "The biggest lesson from the Holocaust against Jews is that hatred does not disappear but hides, and Hamas has committed horrific acts against Israelis, and we will never forget."
