Mufti of Tripoli and the North Receives a Delegation from

The Mufti of Tripoli and the North, Sheikh Muhammad Imam, received a delegation from "Hezbollah" in his office at the Dar Al-Fatwa in Tripoli. The delegation included the head of the northern sector, Sheikh Reza Ahmad, accompanied by the head of the cultural outreach in the north, Sheikh Ali Ismail.

Mufti Imam welcomed the delegation, condemning the "repeated insults to Islam through the burning of the Qurans or defaming the messengers and prophets, or through spreading vice." He affirmed that "the Prophet's birthday is a commemoration that unites the nation. Today, we are in the midst of repeated and destructive attacks on religious laws and human values, which increases our cohesion and determination not to remain silent and to respond to all lies through our unity and shared coexistence among all components of the nation."

For his part, Sheikh Reza Ahmad stated: "Our visit to the esteemed Mufti of Tripoli and the North is to discuss the concerns of the people of the north, and we emphasize the importance of our solidarity and our adherence to the rope of God together." He stressed the "necessity for all of us to be united in word and ranks in light of the attack we are all facing."
