Inauguration of the First Recruitment Center in Damascus (Video)

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad directed Defense Minister Ali Abbas to inaugurate the first recruitment center in Damascus after completing the network linkage with the relevant ministries and institutions. The initiative was launched experimentally in April. The center's staff will handle all recruitment requirements, including military service preparations, postponements, exemptions, payment of fees, and travel approvals, among others. This will help save time and effort for citizens following the network connection with the relevant government institutions linked to the General Recruitment Directorate, such as the General Civil Registry Directorate, the Immigration and Passports Department, and the Ministries of Education and Finance. During his tour of the center’s halls and his review of the recruitment services provided to citizens, the Syrian Defense Minister emphasized the importance of launching operations at the center to the highest service level to alleviate burdens on citizens and ensure that individuals in duty receive the required service promptly, especially since it is located in the center of Damascus Governorate.
