Retired Military Personnel: Ministry of Finance Incentives are a

The "Retired Military Personnel Gathering" commented on "confirmed information regarding incentives that will be granted to employees of the Ministry of Finance, ranging between $300 and $700 per month," stating that this reflects the government's continued selective approach toward segments of the public sector and a blatant violation of applicable laws, especially the law regarding salary scales. The gathering emphasized its absolute rejection of any selective treatment towards segments of the public sector and its retirees, stressing that it will not stand idly by in the face of this farce that has crossed the red line. They warned that if this policy is not revoked, it will lead to serious confrontations and dire consequences for which the government alone will bear responsibility. The gathering highlighted that inflation, taxes, and astronomical fees have affected all public sector employees and retirees, who are now below the poverty line. They criticized the government for treating the public sector as if it were a group of tribes, each vying for its own gains based on its influence and power.

They called on the government to "cease this destructive random and selective behavior, which has fragmented the public sector, and to adopt the fair and comprehensive solution proposed by the gathering." They urged "retired military personnel and public sector employees to remain on high alert to confront such destructive government projects, even if it requires fierce confrontations and many sacrifices, and to lead the charge in defending the values of truth, justice, and equality with their bodies, arms, and feet."
