Title: Hajjjar Warns of "Dangerous Projects Being Prepared for Lebanon"

Social Affairs Minister in the caretaker government, Hektor Hajjjar, revealed that "there is a clear project to integrate the displaced." Speaking at the "Free Patriotic Movement" conference on Syrian displacement, he said: "We are discovering today a long dialogue between the United Nations and Prime Minister Najib Mikati to merge the Lebanese and Syrian response pathways without returning to the ministries." Hajjjar added: "They have minimized all roles, and we were supposed to say yes after two days, but you know my stance, so the session was halted; however, the attempt to integrate the displaced in Lebanon will not stop." He continued: "Imagine a Lebanese displaced from the south while we are considering renting homes for people from other nationalities." Hajjjar warned that "there is a project to drag Lebanon into undermining social stability." He stated: "Those who hosted the Syrians in such numbers want to evade the costs today, creating social instability. There is a project to make Lebanon bear the burden of Syrian displacement."
