"Revolution of Anger" in Hong Kong.. and the Reason is Messi!

A fierce anger and frustration have overtaken the Hong Kong government due to Argentine star Lionel Messi's refusal to play in an exhibition friendly match in the country. Hong Kong's Minister of Sports, Kevin Young, reiterated the government's call for an explanation from the organizer of the football match between Inter Miami and a local team, following widespread disappointment regarding Messi's absence and his remaining on the bench throughout the game.

During a press conference, Kevin Young stated, "The government funding agreement with the organizer, Tattler Sports, requires Messi to play at least 45 minutes, unless there are concerns about his safety or health." He added that "the organizers confirmed again before the start of the match that Messi would play in the second half."

The exhibition match, which garnered significant attention on Sunday, ended with fans booing David Beckham, the co-owner of Inter Miami, and demanding refunds due to Messi's non-participation as a result of a hamstring injury.
