The Egyptian Professional Football Clubs Association has imposed three penalties on Zamalek following the events that occurred during the match between "The White Knight" and their rival Al-Ahly on Monday in the Egyptian league. The association fined Zamalek 50,000 EGP for removing and hiding the balls from the pitch during the match to waste time. The association also decided to suspend Amr Abu Al-Aziz, Zamalek's administrative manager, for two matches due to the removal and hiding of balls during the game. Additionally, Mustafa Hussein "Mila," a logistics worker for Zamalek, has been banned from accompanying the team for four matches for intentionally removing and hiding the balls during the match to waste time. It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly’s coach, Swiss Marcel Koller, had protested near the end of the match regarding the failure to provide balls for his players to resume play quickly by the ball boys from the host club, Zamalek. The match ended with Zamalek winning 2-1.
