Today, in the capital Riyadh, the employment forum for the qualification program under the Happiness Makers initiative of the General Authority for Entertainment (GAE) commenced. The forum includes several programs and workshops aimed at developing the entertainment sector and increasing employment in the field, contributing to the support of the local economy.
The forum, targeting recent graduates and job seekers, witnessed a series of introductory meetings with participating companies and several personal interviews, in collaboration with a selection of companies operating in the entertainment sector.
The qualification program, culminating in employment, consists of several programs, each lasting up to 12 months, in partnership with prestigious global universities and academies. It targets 1,000 male and female students, training them in specializations such as managing entertainment destinations, health and safety management in events, designing the entertainment experience, in addition to several other specialized fields.
The General Authority for Entertainment continues to qualify, develop, and train human resources in the sector through a range of educational and training programs, such as the Entertainment Leaders Program, the Entertainment Fellowship Program, short courses, and an online training platform, in cooperation with various global universities and specialized academies in the entertainment sector and its multiple fields.
