The official spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency, Ahmed Fahmy, stated that the two presidents exchanged congratulations on the arrival of the holy month, with President Sisi expressing his wishes for goodness, safety, and stability for the Syrian people, and praying for the Almighty to protect both the Arab and Islamic nations from all harm. President Assad appreciated the kind call, wishing that this blessed month would bring prosperity and flourishing to Egypt and its people.
Sisi also called Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, where both presidents extended their best wishes for the blessed month of Ramadan, asking God the Almighty to accept good deeds and bless the Egyptian and Algerian brotherly peoples, as well as all the Arab and Islamic nations.
Additionally, Sisi contacted Sudan's Sovereignty Council Chairman, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, where they exchanged congratulations on the arrival of Ramadan, praying that God accept good deeds and maintain the bonds of affection and brotherhood between the Egyptian and Sudanese peoples, and protect Sudan and its people from all harm, wishing for these blessed days to return to the Arab and Islamic nations with goodness and safety.
