The Lebanese Meteorological Department announced in its evening weather bulletin that "a stable and relatively warm weather is expected in Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin over the next two days, with a noticeable rise in temperatures, especially tomorrow, Wednesday, where it will exceed seasonal averages, alongside some local fluctuations and light rain in the eastern and southeastern regions from Wednesday evening until Thursday afternoon due to the influence of a low-pressure system centered over Egypt, after which stability will return until the end of the week."
It noted that "the average temperatures for December in Beirut range between 13 and 21 degrees, in Tripoli between 10 and 19 degrees, and in Zahle between 4 and 14 degrees."
The expected weather in Lebanon is as follows:
- **Wednesday:** Partly cloudy to partly cloudy with medium and high clouds, significantly increased temperatures that exceed seasonal averages and active winds carrying light dust, especially in southern areas, with low humidity during the day. It will turn cloudy in the evening, especially in southern and internal areas, with scattered light rain at night and fog formation.
- **Thursday:** Partly cloudy with fog in the mountainous areas and a noticeable decrease in temperatures returning to seasonal averages. Light drizzle will fall intermittently during the morning in inland areas, with stable weather during the day and occasional active winds.
- **Friday:** Partly cloudy to mostly clear with fog in the mountains, with little change in temperatures on the coast while slightly rising in mountainous and inland areas.
- **Saturday:** Generally few clouds with stable temperatures.
