Russian Forces Target Airport in Southern Ukraine

The "Novosti" agency reported today, Saturday, citing sources, that "Russian forces shelled the Martynovskyi military airport in Mykolaiv Oblast, southern Ukraine." The agency reported from a local coordinator that "at 1:50 PM, Russian forces struck the Martynovskyi military airport in the Mykolaiv region," noting that the strikes were carried out following flight activity at the airport.

It was clarified that after a military aircraft took off from the airport and then landed, a missile was launched toward it. The extent of the damage remains unclear, but smoke is still rising from the airport. Additionally, another attack reportedly occurred at 12:20 PM on a military unit located in the direction of the "Boh Hills" near the Voznesensk area, with smoke rising afterward in three locations.

The same source stated that the strike targeted a group of forces, and ambulances rushed to the scene, with sirens heard in that direction, confirming "the destruction of heavy equipment, which are Western models."
