Exchange of Artillery Fire on the Southern Lebanese Border and Intensive Israeli Air Patrols

Reports from the south indicate that today, Saturday, an Israeli military site in "Jal el-Alam," near the town of Naqoura in the western sector, was targeted, alongside the targeting of the enemy position in Malakiya at the border of the town of "Aytaroun" in southern Lebanon. Meanwhile, Israeli forces shelled the "Jardah" position, an enemy site at the border of the town of Al-Duhayra in the western sector, and targeted the "Labouna" area south of Naqoura in the western sector. Israeli warplanes also launched attacks on specific sites in the south, particularly on the outskirts of the town of Aitah al-Chab.

In a notable development, "Hezbollah" shot down an Israeli surveillance balloon launched over the settlement of "Miskaf Am." Hezbollah announced in a statement that "we simultaneously attacked with rockets and appropriate weapons a number of Israeli army positions, namely Jal el-Alam, Jardah, Hadb al-Bustan, Malakiya, and Moutala, achieving direct hits."

Lebanese media reported that "alarm sirens were heard at the UNIFIL base in Naqoura." There was also observed intensive flight activity of an electronic intelligence and aerial surveillance aircraft from Squadron 122 of the Israeli Air Force, on a reconnaissance and monitoring mission for deep Syria towards the southern and central regions, in addition to Lebanon and Gaza. Israeli Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has called for conducting ground and air strikes against "Hezbollah" in Lebanon to halt its provocations.
