The Youth Batroun team is on the verge of reaching the final round of the Lebanese Volleyball Championship for men’s first division clubs, after they led their host, Al-Anwar Al-Jadida, the defending champion, 2-0 in the possible five matches in the semi-final "Final 4." They defeated them 3-0 (sets of 25-20, 25-23, 25-23) in a match held this evening at the Michel Mare Sports Complex in Bouchrieh in front of a large audience. This victory marks Batroun's first win at the Anwar’s court, and they are on their way to potentially having a Batroun final against their neighbor, Speed Ball Chekka, who has won the Lebanese championship four times and is also leading against the Social Revival team 2-0 in the second semi-final. The Youth Batroun will host Al-Anwar in the third match, scheduled for 8:30 PM this coming Friday at the Batroun Hall.
