As Israel awaits a potential Iranian response to the strike on Tehran's consulate in Damascus at the beginning of April, U.S. officials are indicating signs that Iran may be ready to attack Israel with missile strikes and drones. Three U.S. officials reported that Iran has prepared a significant number of missiles for a possible strike, according to ABC News on Friday. Two of them specified that Iran has prepared over 100 cruise missiles. One official added that Tehran has also assembled a large number of drones that could be used in an attack on Israel. The officials noted that Iran has been preparing the missiles and drones over the past week. This comes as U.S. President Joe Biden stated on Friday that he expects Tehran to attempt to strike Israel in the near future in response to the targeting of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, urging Tehran not to attack Israel. Biden clarified, "I don't want to get into classified information but I expect (the strike) to happen sooner rather than later."
