Thank You Qatar for Your Tremendous Efforts

The Minister of Economy and Trade in the caretaker government, Amin Salam, and the accompanying delegation participated in the third session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with Central Asian countries and the Republic of Azerbaijan, which kicked off in the Qatari capital, Doha. Minister Salam held side meetings before and after the ministerial-level meeting with Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touk, Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Kuwait's Deputy Foreign Minister Sheikh Jrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, and Oman’s Ministry of Economy and Trade Undersecretary Dr. Nasser Al Maawali. In a conversation with journalists, Salam expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Qatar, its emir, government, and people for their "continuous and unwavering efforts on all fronts, especially in following up on the Palestinian Arab issue and the tremendous efforts to end the Israeli aggression against our Arab people and our people in Palestine, and the imminent danger facing our people in Rafah, while also caring for Lebanon's political and economic return to what it was before its successive crises.” Minister Salam will continue his meetings in Doha tomorrow with several Qatari and Arab leaders.
