The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance announced in a statement that, as part of the pursuits and security measures being carried out by the military institution in different regions, intelligence directorate patrols have arrested 3 citizens as follows:
- The arrest of citizen (A.A.) in the area of Marijeh – the southern suburb, for committing crimes such as drug trafficking and usage, gunfire and breach of security, trafficking in stolen motorcycles, and previously taking pictures in front of religious sites in the city of Byblos displaying his firearm.
- The arrest of citizens (A.S.) and (H.D.) in the city of Tripoli for promoting drugs, along with the seizure of a quantity of them.
The seized items have been handed over, and an investigation with the detainees has commenced under the supervision of the relevant judiciary.
