In a strange incident in the eastern area of Cairo, Egypt, a giant crane collapsed onto two cars, completely destroying them. Passersby were startled on Al-Tasa'in Street in the Fifth Settlement area when the crane fell onto the two vehicles that were in the work zone at the time. Security forces along with rescue teams immediately rushed to the scene to remove the aftermath of the accident.
An examination revealed that while the workers were maneuvering the crane, a technical malfunction occurred, causing it to fall onto the cars without any human casualties. Authorities are investigating the cause of the sudden malfunction that led to the crane's collapse and are discussing the situation with the project officials to determine the reasons and assess the damages for compensating the owners of the cars. The prosecutor's office has been notified and is conducting an investigation.
