The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has announced that food distribution in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza is currently suspended due to a shortage of supplies and a lack of security. The simultaneous Israeli attacks on both northern and southern Gaza this month have caused a new mass displacement of hundreds of thousands of people fleeing their homes, as well as severe restrictions on the flow of aid, exacerbating the risk of famine.
