Russia announced on Wednesday that "its armed forces have taken control of the small town of Kromov near Bakhmut in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine." The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense stated that "forces supported by aviation and artillery have improved their positions along the frontline and liberated the village of 'Artemovskoye,' using the Russian name for the town of Kromov."
