The Dubai Global Chamber, one of the three chambers operating under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, is organizing a trade mission to Indonesia and Vietnam from May 5 to May 10. The mission will lead a delegation of private sector companies from Dubai as part of the "New Horizons for External Expansion" initiative, which supports the expansion of local companies into global markets.
The chamber held a special session bringing together delegation members to discuss the mission agenda, which includes bilateral business meetings to explore collaboration opportunities, facilitate communication between Dubai companies and their counterparts in Indonesia and Vietnam, and engage in dialogues with decision-makers from the public and private sectors.
Mohammed Ali Rashid Luhta, Director General of Dubai Chambers, affirmed the chamber's commitment to supporting local companies at all stages of their international expansion. The Dubai Global Chamber is keen to provide new growth opportunities in strategically important markets worldwide, including Indonesia and Vietnam.
Luhta explained that the new trade mission aims to encourage local companies to seize business and investment opportunities available in Indonesia and Vietnam, given the competitive advantages of these countries, including their important strategic location and diverse opportunities.
The "New Horizons for External Expansion" initiative is part of the Dubai Global Chamber's efforts to stimulate the international expansion of companies operating in the emirate into new markets with promising prospects. This aligns with the goals of the "Dubai Global" initiative, which aims to help Dubai companies explore new business opportunities across 30 priority markets, contributing to the realization of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) targets.
