The great star Mervat Amin returns to the Egyptian drama scene to participate in the new drama series "Maliha." In the events of the series, the actress Mervat Amin portrays a woman named "Hanan," of Palestinian descent, who is the mother of the artists Diab and Amir El-Masry. The series addresses the Palestinian issue.
"Maliha" consists of 15 episodes and revolves around a Palestinian family living in Salloum, who, following the events in Libya, are forced to return to Gaza through Egypt, facing numerous difficulties.
The cast of "Maliha" includes Diab, Mervat Amin, Ashraf Zaki, Magda Zaki, Amir El-Masry, Hanan Suleiman, Ahmed Saadani, Sarah Abdel Rahman, and several young faces. The series is written by Rasha Ezzat El-Gazzar and directed by Amr Arafa.
It is worth mentioning that Mervat Amin's last television work was the series "Taghyeer Jaw" with Menna Shalaby, directed by Mariam Abou Ouf, which aired last Ramadan on the "Shahid" platform.
