Statement from General Security Regarding the Investigation with Makram Rabah

The Office of Media Affairs at the General Directorate of General Security issued the following statement: "There is news circulating on social media concerning the investigation file of Makram Rabah within the General Security investigation department. Some have addressed this topic in a negative and offensive manner that exceeds the established norms of communication and professionalism in judicial investigation cases. The General Directorate of General Security, as a judicial authority, has as one of its primary duties the implementation of laws based on judicial orders, starting from receiving the investigation decision to the release or detention of an individual. This is an established judicial process that the Directorate is committed to applying in all aspects of the investigation and in accordance with human rights under the supervision of the competent judiciary."
