Statement from the Real Estate Department

The General Directorate of Real Estate Affairs announced today, Thursday, that the real estate registry offices in Mount Lebanon will deliver the second batch of ready-to-receive orders and the third batch of ready property deeds to the concerned parties or their legal representatives on Friday, March 22, 2024, and will receive requests for replacements for lost documents.

The delivery process requires the concerned parties to visit the General Directorate of Real Estate Affairs website, http://WWW.LRC.GOV.LB, in the latest news section to confirm the existence of their order or deed among the lists published on the site. They must then go, for deeds only, to the relevant accounting offices to obtain the stamps (2*50,000 = 100,000 L.L.) or present a payment receipt for the stamps from recognized financial companies.

The locations for obtaining the stamps are as follows:

- Baabda Accounting Office (Real Estate Registry in Baabda - Aley - Chouf)

- Metn Accounting Office (Real Estate Registry in Metn)

- Jounieh Accounting Office (Real Estate Registries in Jounieh - Jbeil)

It was also stated that "the center for delivering orders related to the Jbeil district will be at the assistant real estate office in the Jbeil courthouse."
