Reconnaissance Flights Over Hasbaya and Shebaa Farms

On the second day of Eid al-Fitr, high tension continues to loom over the border area in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon, extending from the Majidiyeh, Gharqhar, outskirts of the town of Mari in the Hasbaya district to the Arqoub area, Hasbaya, and Shebaa Farms following a day of heavy mutual rocket and artillery fire. In this context, reconnaissance aircraft of the type MKA continued to conduct exploratory flights until dawn over Hasbaya and the occupied Shebaa Farms, reaching up to the heights of Mount Sheikh overlooking the Western Bekaa area and the Itaf region.
