The young man Samer Merhab "Abu Samir," from the town of Tannourine in the Batroun district, was involved in a horrific car accident at night in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He was transferred to a hospital for treatment but soon succumbed to his injuries. The young man was a resident of Dhahr al-Ain in Koura and had been working abroad for some time in search of a livelihood due to the economic conditions in Lebanon.
