Putin: We Do Not Expect Changes in Relations with Iran After Raeesi's Death

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated today, Friday, that "Moscow does not expect any changes in its relations with Iran following the death of President Ebrahim Raeesi in a helicopter crash." Putin has strengthened his ties with Raeesi since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war, and Moscow intends to sign a major partnership agreement with Tehran. Putin's remarks came from Minsk, the capital of Belarus, after two days of talks with his counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.
