The Minister of Finance in the caretaker government, Yusuf Khalil, stated during the opening of the land registry office in Jeb Jannin that "strengthening financial and monetary stability requires stable political conditions, and overcoming their issues lies partly in continuing what we have started with reform steps in the previous budget, in the 2025 budget, as well as requiring a return to constitutional regularity." He pointed out that "real estate offices across Lebanon are starting to regain their vitality, and we will soon witness an improvement in facilitating people's transactions first and enhancing treasury revenues." Khalil explained that the purpose of "opening the land registry office in Jeb Jannin is to bring official administration closer to the people and to alleviate the burdens of travel and costs."
