The statement, reported by "Russia Today," said: "The forces of USS Gravely (DDG 107) and the US Central Command (CENTCOM) successfully engaged and destroyed an anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM) and two unmanned aerial systems (UAS) that were launched from Yemen toward the US ship USS Gravely in the Red Sea."
It added: "The US Central Command forces destroyed a mobile surface-to-air missile system in Houthi-controlled territory, which posed a threat to US forces, coalition forces, and commercial vessels in the region."
