Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that "ten people lost their lives and 39 others were injured in southern Turkey today, Sunday, when a passenger bus collided with three other vehicles on a major highway." The minister added on "X" that "the bus, which was en route to Istanbul from Diyarbakır, crashed into a truck and two other vehicles in the Tarsus area near the city of Mersin on the Mediterranean." The government stated that an investigation has begun to determine the circumstances of the accident.
