Midfielder-forward Basil Grady joined the Lebanese national football team camp in the Qatari capital, Doha, today, Sunday, to begin preparations for the Asian Cup finals hosted by Qatar starting on the 12th of this month. Grady was previously with his team, Bangkok United, which leads the Thai league, and he played his last match with them yesterday in the first half of the season against Buriram United, the second-placed team in the overall standings. The player, who has competed in 20 international matches scoring two goals and providing two assists, arrived in Doha today afternoon and subsequently joined the national team's evening training session held at the Al-Aqilah complex. With Grady's arrival, the national team is now complete, which is beneficial for the coaching staff as they consider the former player of Hajduk Split of Croatia and Apollon Limassol of Cyprus an important component of their lineup, especially given his experience in the continental tournament where he represented Lebanon in the 2019 edition held in the UAE.
