The Coast continued its pursuit of Al-Tadamon Sour at the top of the standings in the final six teams of the Lebanese league, following its victory over Tripoli with a score of 3-2 in an exciting match that took place today, Sunday, during the ninth round. Tripoli started the match with a surprising attack that unsettled the Coast's defense and succeeded in snatching an early goal just 10 minutes in, scored by Geronimo. The Coast equalized in the 44th minute through their player Emanuele Auberi. Ali Fakih, the Coast star, netted the second goal for his team in the 67th minute, followed by the third goal in the 71st minute from Hadi Dakour. Tripoli narrowed the gap by scoring their second goal in the 91st minute through Thiago do Amaral. With this result, the Coast occupies the second place in the standings with 21 points, only two points behind the leader Al-Tadamon Sour, while Tripoli remains at 13 points in fifth place, just above the last position.
