Israeli Official to Gallant: Resign and Leave!

Israeli Regional Cooperation Minister David Amsalem demanded today, Friday, that Defense Minister Yoav Gallant leave the government and resign. In an interview with Israeli Channel 14, Amsalem emphasized the necessity for Gallant to resign from his position, following statements he made two days ago. Amsalem explained in his conversation with the Israeli channel that Gallant's statements and conduct harm and undermine Israel's security. The Israeli Defense Minister had announced his opposition to any Israeli military rule over the Gaza Strip, stating it would be bloody, costly, and would last for years.
