The Minister of Agriculture in the caretaker government, Abbas Al-Haj Hassan, met with a delegation from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Agriculture on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development. The Lebanese and Kuwaiti sides agreed to "activate agricultural cooperation between the two countries through a cooperation document that enhances the exchange of agricultural products and mutual investments in various agricultural sectors, both animal and plant."
