Houthi Warns Against Involvement in Any Ground Attack on Yemen

The leader of the Yemeni "Ansar Allah" movement, Abdul Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, warned Americans and British on Thursday against becoming involved in any ground attack on Yemen. In a speech, Abdul Malik al-Houthi stated: "The American Navy has not reached this level of humiliation since the 19th century, according to the testimony of one of the American officers... The dire situation of the U.S. Navy is a result of American obstinacy and the refusal to accept the correct and just solution." He emphasized that the only solution to stop Houthi attacks is to "end the aggression, crimes, and blockade on the Gaza Strip." He added: "The American is inclined to continue the aggression against our country, and its attacks have reached 13 airstrikes and naval bombings this week... The enemy's aggressions this week, like those before, are failures that cannot limit the capabilities of our armed forces nor affect our decision to support the Palestinian people," he continued: "The aggression against our country will only contribute—unintentionally by the enemies—to the development of military capabilities." Earlier this week, "Ansar Allah" announced that its forces had carried out 6 operations over the past three days using missiles and drones in the Gulf of Aden, the Red Sea, and against Israeli sites.
