Rapid Support Forces Control 70% of Sudan

Dr. Ibrahim Mukhair, a member of the advisory office for Rapid Support Forces leader Lieutenant General Mohammad Hamdan Daglo "Hemedti," stated that "the war was imposed on us" to protect the country from the threat of terrorist and extremist groups hiding behind religion. He announced that the Rapid Support Forces control over 70% of Sudan's territory, including the Darfur, Kordofan, and Al-Jazeera regions.

Mukhair reported that extremist groups involved with "Burhan," led by supporters of "ISIS" and "Al-Qaeda" allied with the terrorist "Muslim Brotherhood," are wreaking havoc in Sudan. He claimed that the army is arming these extremist groups under the pretext of arming civilians in defense of themselves.

Hemedti's advisor highlighted that the military superiority lies with the "Rapid Support Forces," but they do not seek to widen the conflict due to the awareness of the tragedies and atrocities that war brings. He indicated that the focus remains on exerting diplomatic and political pressure on "Burhan" and his allies for dialogue, at least to reach a truce that would allow the delivery of relief materials to war-affected areas and achieve a level of stability that permits citizens to live and move normally.

He stated in an exclusive interview with "Aram News" that the Rapid Support Forces control about 70% of the country.
