In a recent report, the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces in Lebanon's Public Relations Division issued a statement:
"As part of the ongoing efforts by the Internal Security Forces to combat various types of crime, information was received by the Crime Investigation Unit of Mount Lebanon in the Regional Gendarmerie about two individuals involved in stealing cash amounts, bicycles, and gas canisters from several homes in the town of Salima, Baabda.
Through diligent investigations and surveillance, one of the unit's patrols succeeded in arresting the suspects in the mentioned town. They were found riding a white motorbike without a license plate. The suspects turned out to be minors:
A. A. (born in 2010, Syrian nationality)
W. F. (born in 2009, Lebanese nationality)
The arrested minors and the motorbike were handed over to the concerned authority to take the necessary legal action, based on the directive of the competent judiciary."
