Minister of Education Tours the South

Minister of Education and Higher Education Abbas Halabi arrived in the South Governorate this morning for a southern tour. He began by visiting the South Governor, Mansour Dwe, in his office at the Serail of Sidon, accompanied by the General Director of the Ministry, Imad Ashqar, International Aid Officer Georgia Hashim, and his media advisor Albert Shammoun. Halabi was welcomed by Governor Mansour Dwe, the Head of the Educational Region Ahmed Saleh, the Exams Officer in the region Dib Fatouni, and several employees. Halabi and the delegation will then proceed to launch emergency response schools at the Official Secondary School in Al-Abbassiya in Tyre and the Official School in Ghazieh, aiming to secure education for students who have been forcibly displaced from their border villages to other areas.
