The Hebrew newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" quoted Israeli officials stating that "Hamas set impossible conditions and its response is negative." The paper pointed out that Hamas' response to the proposal for the release of prisoners is currently under analysis and an official response is being formulated. On the surface, Hamas expressed agreement with the framework, but imposed impossible conditions. In any case, Israel will not stop fighting. Under these impossible circumstances, Hamas' response resembles a negative answer. The report mentioned that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken requested a security review only with Halivi, not within the War Cabinet framework as was previously the case. Channel 13 commented, quoting an Israeli official: "Hamas' response means a rejection of the proposal, and we will not halt the war." Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel will continue fighting in Gaza "until victory is achieved," following Hamas' delivery of its response to the ceasefire proposal.
