Syrian media reported hearing explosions around the Syrian capital, Damascus. Sources indicated that an Israeli strike targeted positions of Iranian factions near the "Najha" area south of Damascus. Meanwhile, "Al-Hadath" sources mentioned that an airstrike, likely Israeli, targeted a location belonging to Hezbollah on the airport road south of Damascus. A security source stated that "an Israeli air raid targeted a Syrian security building outside Damascus." For its part, the Syrian Observatory noted that "it cannot confirm Israel's involvement in the strikes in western Damascus countryside," adding that "Damascus requested Tehran not to target Israel from the Golan."
