Rescue teams and volunteer divers found the body of a drowning victim in the "Dekheila" area of Alexandria, Egypt, today Tuesday, four days after the drowning incident. Volunteer diver Ihab Al-Malhi reported that the body surfaced near the harbor and was recovered this morning to be handed over to the family for burial, according to local media.
Over the course of four days, rescue teams and volunteer divers continued searching for the body of the drowning victim, identified as "Mustafa Al-Nems," a fisherman. However, poor water visibility hindered the divers' efforts in locating the submerged body, while the strong water currents caused by passing ships and fishing boats added to the difficulty.
The drowning incident occurred near his boat in the Dekheila Sea in Alexandria. A large number of divers gathered to dive with scuba cylinders to remain underwater as long as possible in their search for the submerged body. The Dekheila police station received a report from the emergency police regarding the drowning of the fisherman in the area last Saturday, leading officers and rescue teams, along with an ambulance, to the mentioned beach.
