Lebanese Parliamentary Delegation Meets Hochstein in Washington

A Lebanese parliamentary delegation visiting Washington, initiated by MP Fouad Makhzoumi, held a meeting with U.S. President's Senior Advisor Amos Hochstein. According to a statement from Makhzoumi's office, the meeting intensified with discussions involving all members of the delegation, focusing on the implementation of Resolution 1701 and U.S. efforts in this regard, along with the Lebanese demand to separate Lebanon from the ongoing war in Gaza. The statement added that the attendees also discussed the progress made by various parties, particularly the Quintet Committee, towards electing a president for the republic.
