Israeli media reported today, Monday, that over 50 rockets were launched from southern Lebanon towards the settlement of Meron in northern Israel, while Hezbollah issued a statement regarding this operation. The newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" noted that fires broke out in several locations in Meron following a heavy barrage of rockets on the area. "Yedioth Ahronoth" mentioned that estimates indicate between 30 to 40 rockets were launched from Lebanon. For its part, Hezbollah announced that its members shelled the settlements of Meron, Safsufa, and Tsfat with dozens of Katyusha rockets.
