They Stole a Warehouse of Nuts and Sold the Goods... How Were They Caught?

A patrol from the State Security arrested the Syrians (M.M.), (A.M.), and (A.A.) after monitoring and tracking them while they were caught in the act of stealing from a warehouse in the Jounieh area. Following their investigation, they were referred to the competent judiciary.

In detail, the Syrian (M.M.) worked as a warehouse guard for a well-known snack company in Lebanon and the Arab world. After a while in charge of the warehouse, he and three fellow Syrians agreed to secure a key that allowed them to enter the warehouse daily at 3 AM, where they loaded their vehicle with various types of nuts to sell in different regions of Lebanon the following day.

State Security received information that some Syrians were selling nuts at low prices, often exchanging the proceeds for food or similar items. They monitored the gang in Mount Lebanon as they broke into the warehouse and filled their vehicle with nuts for distribution. They were arrested and interrogated, and were referred to the relevant authorities for legal action to be taken against them.
