Night guards in the municipality of Jbeil arrested a Syrian gang involved in smuggling Syrians into Lebanon through an innovative method.
According to the details, the Syrian smuggler took two women and two children to the Syrian border in the Al-Areedha area, stamped their documents, took them out of Syria, and dropped them off after the checkpoint, handing them over to a Lebanese driver. The driver then stamped his identification documents at the Lebanese border and returned to collect his passengers from the Lebanese driver. It is known that the two women and the children have relatives working in a shop in Jbeil, and investigations are ongoing by the specialized security forces to determine all the details.
